Kayla Gao

Kayla is a corporate paralegal with experience supporting corporate transactions, governance matters and regulatory filings. She has assisted lawyers with corporate reorganizations, restructures and mergers and acquisitions, contributing to a range of complex business transactions. Kayla is detail-oriented and enjoys finding efficient way to streamline processes while supporting complex legal work.

Prior to beginning her legal career in Canada, Kayla worked as an in-house paralegal for a construction company in China and passed China’s National Bar Examination in 2023. Her international background allows her to bring valuable insight when working on corporate and business matters. Kayla is fluent in English and Mandarin, assists clients with interpretation and communication when needed.

Outside of work, Kayla enjoys building LEGO Technic sets, hiking and photography.
