Naz Kousha
Naz Kousha is an articling student at Coal Harbour Law, working with the firm’s solicitors and litigation teams. She assists with corporate, commercial, governance, employment, and litigation matters for businesses, individuals, and charitable and non-profit organizations.
Naz earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, where she graduated with high distinction and was named to the Dean’s List.
During law school, Naz assisted self-represented litigants through Pro Bono Law Alberta’s Civil Claims Duty Counsel Project, preparing and reviewing legal documents and helping individuals navigate court procedures. She also served as a caseworker with Student Legal Services of Edmonton’s Criminal Law Project, providing legal information and appearing in court as an agent for individuals facing criminal charges.
Naz’s community involvement includes volunteering with the University of Alberta Women’s Law Forum and BC Children’s Hospital. Before joining the firm, she also worked with the Society for Children and Youth of BC and spent several years with the North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission. Naz brings a practical, thoughtful approach to her work, with a focus on understanding clients’ needs and communicating clearly.
