Serene Aulakh

Serene joined Coal Harbour Law as an articled student in September 2025 after earning her Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB(Hons)) from the University of Exeter. After law school, she built a strong foundation in prison law and administrative law, through her work as a Legal Advocate with a prison law clinic. In that role, she supported incarcerated individuals in navigating human rights issues and represented clients during disciplinary hearings.

 Prior to entering law school, Serene volunteered with the Justice Education Society, where she contributed to public legal education initiatives. She continues to be actively engaged in access-to-justice work as a volunteer with the South Asian Community Legal Clinic.

 When she’s not working, Serene enjoys quiet moments indoors—especially on a cold day—with a good show and a cup of tea.
